VTB Bank continues streamlining its regional network in order to enhance performance of its branches and offer VTB customers leading-edge and sophisticated banking products. In light of this, VTB places a special focus on building a strong team of branches’ general managers attracting the best professionals in the market.
Thus, Kamil Yusupov is appointed General Manager of VTB Bank Branch in Tatarstan. On 22 August 2011, Chaba Zentai, Head of VTB Regional Network Department – Senior Vice President, introduced the new General Manager to the staff, when visiting Kazan.
Chaba Zentai emphasized that “VTB management has set a task to the Regional Network Department to transform the Bank’s branches into high-tech divisions offering existing and prospective VTB customers the widest possible line of banking products. Such transformation is based on a strong team of branches’ general managers which has just been reinforced by an experienced and efficient manager. I am absolutely sure that Kamil Yusupov will make the Tatarstan Branch a recognized leader in the region.”

Kamil Raifovich Yusupov was born in 1971. He has graduated from two higher education institutions (Kamsk Polytechnic Institute and Kazan Finance and Economics Institute). He has been in banking since 1994 as a senior economist at a branch of Promstroibank in Naberezhnye Chelny. From 1997 to 2007, he worked for Tatfondbank starting from sub-office manager, to Chairman of the Management Board, First Deputy Chairman of the Management Board and Head of Tatfondbank. From 2010 to 2011 he was Deputy General Manager of the “Tatarstan Bank” division of the Sberbank of Russia.
Presently, there are 19 points of sale in the Republic of Tatarstan belonging to VTB Group (VTB Bank and VTB24). The branch’s customer base includes 1,538 corporate customers, 671 of which are referred to large and middle-size businesses.
In 2007-2011, VTB Bank’s loans to enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan totaled RUB 101 bln. In 2011, the amount of loans made to the regional companies reached RUB 29 bln. The share of VTB branch in Tatarstan in the volume of loans to the regional enterprises and companies is 2.7%. Its share in corporate customers’ accounts in the region is 1.5%. As of 01.08.2011, its loan portfolio is structured as follows: engineering – 42.7%, commerce – 27.4%, construction –13.7%, food industry – 0.6%, chemicals – 0.2%, construction material – 3.6%, transport and communications – 5.2%, regional and municipal administration – 4.3%, other industries – 2.3%.
